HOW TO PLAY

A belt-scrolling brawl. Walk right, clear what stops you, and sign off at the end of the site.

Player One

  • WASD to move, including up and down the floor
  • Space attack · Shift jump · Q mutant power
  • Or J K L, or a gamepad, or the arrow keys in one-player
  • Esc or P to pause

Player Two

  • Same keyboard: the arrow keys to move
  • . attack · / jump · , power
  • Numpad 1 2 3 work too, and so does a second gamepad
  • Two auditors share the score and the site

The Work

  • Three swings chain. The third knocks a risk down.
  • The screen locks when risks arrive. Clear them all to move on.
  • Depth matters. Step up or down the floor to leave a lane before a charge lands in it.
  • Pick up evidence for power, coffee for health, and workpapers for score.

Your Mutant Power

  • A full meter spends nothing. Landing hits fills it.
  • A short meter still fires, and it costs 12 percent of your health. The bar under your name always says which.
  • Level 10 makes it free either way.

On Touch

  • Drag anywhere on the left half of the screen to move
  • Or use the pad in the corner
  • HIT, JUMP and POWER sit under your right thumb

Levelling Up

  • Every risk you put down is XP, and XP is per auditor
  • Your level is kept between runs on this device
  • A level is not a bigger number: it is a new thing you can do
